Max Makes Cents
Today at the Fair when I told the boys I was out of money, Max told me to go buy some more. I love that kid.

Big Boy Bike
Thanks to me backing over Max's tricycle a few days ago, he is not the proud owner of a brand new big boy bike. He had a little trouble at first trying to pedal it (kept pushing backwards and engaging the brakes) but within a half hour was riding it like a pro. He LOVES it. Way to go Max!

6 Year Old Logic
- I was talking to Bo about Sam's birthday and what we should get him. Bo said whatever we get him, we need to get him 3 because Sam does not share very well and we don't want him to fight.
- Mom, I just swallowed a mosquito. Maybe I'll get my blood back!"

Memorial Day Camping - Nome Creek
The first camping trip of the year always seems to take forever to pack and load up but it was all totally worth it. We had originally planned to camp all weekend but 8 weeks ago when I decided to compete in the Fitness Competition, our trip got shrunk down to one night. It all worked out for the best in the end because it rained all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Camping would have been miserable. As it ended up, we still spent all day Sunday hanging out in the camper listening to the rain but come Monday morning, the sun came out and the fun began.
We went on a long 4-wheeler ride up the Quartz Lake trail and had a blast. Sam rode with Daddy. Max rode with me. Bo rode with our friend Dana, and Dana's daughter rode her own. We even had a picnic lunch on top of one of the mountains. It was a fabulous day and made all the stress of packing and sitting in the camper with 3 couped up boys the day before, all worth it. The boys did not want to leave.

Kindergarten Graduation
I can't believe my baby is already done with Kindergarten and I couldn't be more proud. He started the year as a super shy and anxious 5 year old who I quite honestly was worried about but he proved me wrong and thrived. He excelled in Math and can read with the best of them. He was the best listener and rule follower in his class. He liked his teacher, Ms. Todd and even stumped her on occasion with his intellectual mind. One day they were discussing solid, liquid and gasses and each student had a chance to ask the teacher about a particular thing. What's a ball? What about orange juice? Is a pencil a solid? But not Bo, he asked, "What is a cloud?" ??? And that's how he always is. He has been asking questions since he could talk and wants to know how everything works and why things are the way they are. His mind is always on and I am quite certain it will take him far in life. Congrats on the first of many educational milestones, BoBo. I love you.
