Sam's Ouwie

Sam had his first emergency room visit last month while Opa was here. Poor thing got his ring finger closed in the hinge side of our front door. It sliced it open on the palm side and bled and bled and bled. I still can't believe that a little finger can bleed that much but it did and he was hysterical.

Turns out he not only gouged it really good but cracked the bone as well. Sniff Sniff His first broken bone. Thank goodness for young healing. With a little surgical glue and a week of buddy taping his fingers together, he seems good as new (if you ignore the dead purple fingernail he has now, that is).
