Opa's Visit
Opa's letter he sent to the boys about his visit here sums up the week better than I ever could.

We love you and can't wait to see you again soon.
Dear Bo, Sam, and Max,
Thank you very much for letting me come and stay with you recently. I
had a lot of fun and I hope you did too. Let's see . . . what are some of
the fun things I remember?
1. Seeing Max for the first time
2. Playing in the back yard with Bo and Sam on the swing and
slide
3. Building train tracks and playing trains with Bo
4. Following Bo with Sam as Bo mows the yard so so fast and then rolls and
rolls and rolls
5. Kicking soccer balls with Bo & Sam
6. Feeding Max a bottle
7. Helping Sam play with stickers from Aunt Tracy and Uncle Tom
8. Reading books with Sam
9. Watching Bo put together puzzles that Opa brought to him
10. Seeing where Bo goes to school
11. Watching the Husker game with Bo and Dad
12. Playing with Sam in his room
13. Sleeping with Max
14. WAtching Bo and Sam crash cars, planes, trucks and tractors down
the slide and into the auto transporter - - KAPOW!
You are bigger and smarter each time I see you. I wish I could see
you more often. Please tell your mom and dad that I enjoyed visiting with
them also.
Love, Opa
Thanks Opa. The boys are extremely lucky to have a grandpa who is such a good sport, he doesn't mind being the base of a pillow/race track tower.

Proud Wife
I have to give my hubby props for all he has accomplished.
In less than 3 years he has gone from being a medevac pilot in the Army to owning his own real estate brokerage. It has been quite the haul and the hours tremendous but the goal never out of sight.
I'm so proud of you, Wes. I know it hasn't been easy and the road is still long, but you will get there. I have no doubt.

Nana's Visit
Ok, so life with 3 is way more hectic than life with 2 and everything non-kid related has definitely taken a backseat (especially blogging). Trying to find a moment alone is might near impossible and when there is one, it is either extremely short lived or filled with a much needed catnap (might I emphasize much needed).
But as the week rolled on, things started to settle down a bit and life around the house began to return to normal with monster truck races, auto transporter loading and unloading, airplane flying, Lego building, race track constructing, Samsquatch destroying, soccer playing, baby holding, cookie baking, fit throwing, and Nana loving.
And so, since right now is one of those rare moments, I am going to keep this brief in hopes of getting this finished before one of the little hoodlums wakes up.
***********************
Nana (my mom), with her miraculously timed visit, flew in the day before I went into labor. Thank God.
She had barely been here 24hours, was extremely sleep deprived, jet lagged from flying all night and was thrown into an all out kid whirlwind. But she managed it tremendously. (If you disreagard the state of the house when I got home. Holy toys and dishes everywhere! But, the kids were safe, fed and happy and that's all that matters. Right, Mom?)
But I digress. Nana was a huge help while she was here and I am quite certain we would not have made it through that first week without her help. The adjustment of having another baby in the house was difficult on everyone, especially Sammers.
Here Nana & Bo are measuring how much snow we got the night before
And here they are watercoloring
